Meet the Visionary

As a little girl, homegrown on the east side of Detroit- I always knew there was more to life than what I had in front of me. I was not the most popular girl, I did not have a great deal of friends, but I did have a dream. A dream to one day get out of the hood, become an entrepreneur, and make a difference in the lives of others. This dream of course did not come with out hurdles. I fell into the typical teenage traps of wanting to be in a relationship, experimenting, some minor legal issues and eventually teen pregnancy. Though my dreams were placed on hold a bit, they were never forgotten. The dream continued to be a work in progress, as I worked a full-time job and attended community college. It took 10 years to achieve a two year degree, but I did it. I continued on to secure my bachelors degree and finally a Masters Level certification in Life Coaching. As a middle school educator. I desire to be more of a resource and beacon of light for youth which birthed Dreams Can Live, Incorporated.  

• To develop ongoing relationships with youth in an effort to guide them into adulthood
• To provide resources and skills relevant to the needs of the youth
• To encourage youth to dream big and ignite fires to active pursue and achieve goals.
• To build and develop partnerships with local businesses to provide resources and opportunities for youth via internships, employment experiences

Dreams Can Live Incorporated is a  youth outreach to help nurture and cultivate the leaders of tomorrow by providing educational opportunities, mentoring. interactive and immersive experiences. Dreams Can Live strives to be a driving factor in developing a sense of accountability, responsibility, and diversity appreciation in our youth, while ensuring the needs of the whole child is met.
