Dreams Can Live's Mentoring Program discusses and teaches the basics of navigating through adolescence and entering into the territory of early adulthood. This program seeks to empower youth with the ability to dream and envision a successful and productive future while shattering the perceived perpetual limits of personal situations and circumstances that often hinder youth from envisioning what may seem impossible. Dreams Can Live aims to help develop and reinforce positive self-image, respect for self and others, and accountability and responsibility while exposing and equipping youth with vocational, occupational and relational skills to aid in achieving their personal and professional goals.
Dreams Can Live's Tutoring Program offers K-8 Math, Reading and Writing tutoring services. These services are available both virtually, to accommodate a variety of clients and in-person (for those in the Maricopa, AZ area) . Sessions are one hour in length and can be scheduled as often as needed. Your initial assessment is free.
After the last few years, and the overall attempt to rebound from the havoc the pandemic has wreaked on our educational system, this is a great way to get our students not only interested in excelling in academics, but also spark their competitive fortitude in an effort to bring home a trophy for their school. Dreams Can Live is partnering with Central Arizona College - Maricopa Campus, to provide our first Middle School level Academic Bowl. This bowl will take place in Spring of 2023, right before state testing. The academic bowl is not just meant to be a competition, but also a way to help prepare your students for testing. Currently, this event targets the five junior high charter schools in the area. This is an academic competition, in which the winner of each academic category will receive a medal and the school with the overall highest point value will earn the Academic Bowl Trophy.
